2007, June, the 6th Summer Wine Party in CASA DEL VINO

Summer Wine Party, dedicated to German summer wines, took place in CASA DEL VINO restaurant-enoteca. The event was held by the restaurant, together with German Wine Institute. The protagonists of the evening were 16 leading wine-makers from Germany. They presented their white wines of different grape varieties and from various wine-producing regions.

Wine Princess Barbara Fendel was invited to host the party. She is that very charming lady, who gave Vladimir Putin the gift of German wine-makers – wine collection for Konstantinovskiy Palace in St Peterburg, on the occasion of the tercentenary of the city. CASA DEL VINO’s loyal guests, the best sommeliers of Russia, directors of wine-trade companies had an excellent opportunity to get better knowing of German wine-making and to try wines accompanied by especially prepared dishes. This event gave confidence that event the hottest summer is not at all terrible, if you have some white wine from Germany.
